Eleven Things Tag
I’ve seen loads of these tag posts around and I thought I would give them a try myself. Thankfully I was tagged by the lovely Bek over at Dilly Drops in the Eleven Things tag (click the link to read her post, she had some tough questions to answer, number 4 is a doozy!). I wasn’t entirely sure what the #ElevenThings tag was all about, but basically it’s eleven questions that you’re given to answer and then it’s up to you to tag other bloggers or vloggers and come up with eleven questions you’d like them to answer…I don’t think I’ve ever written eleven as much in my entire live as I have done right here… So let’s answer some questions.
What was your favourite toy as a child?
Okay, tricky but I guess it has to be a puppet dog I had called Wrinkles. I used to take her in to school, play with her at home and actually kept her until I was about 20. Then I made a mistake and gave her away to a little girl, who then trashed her and I found her months later dead in the back garden. Heart – broken. Still, I hope she had fun with her while it lasted.
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
I always wanted to be a housewife and a mother, living on a farm in Wales. That was the dream. Nothing spectacular but sadly it’s a dream that never came true.
What is the best family day out you’ve ever been on (as a child or an adult)?
We had lots of trips out and short holidays and there isn’t really one that stands out. The ones I remember the most were the ones where something bad happened, like when my brother went too far out to sea in his dingy and when I got lost in a maze for hours…Oh happy days…
Which film is always guaranteed to make you laugh?
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation is always a winner or Elf. But now I think about it Home Alone is standing out, that bit where the tarantula is put on that guys face, cracks me up every time.
Which sport do you enjoy playing the most?
I don’t like sports really but I used to enjoy Badminton. Unless we can class pool as a sport? In which case, pool.
If you won a million pounds tomorrow, what would be the first thing you would buy?
The house I am renting (after a meal and a few drinks of course). G and I both agreed we would try to buy this place. We don’t need anything else, it’s pretty much perfection. Although I might try to buy next door too and have a detached property…We can dream.
What is your favourite snack?
Bananas. Bananas are so helpful for anyone who has problems with anxiety and panic attacks. They are nature’s own beta blockers and they help me to remain calm in stressful situations. Eat one half an hour before you’re about to go out and you’ll feel a lot better.
What is the most useful tip/hack that you know? For example, in the kitchen, for life in general, etc.
I don’t really know any hacks, not that I use really. I love to read about them but I never put them into practice. The USB bulldog clip tidy one is awesome though, I must do it one day.
Do you play a musical instrument, if so, which one?
I played the piano and clarinet in my younger years and I am still trying to learn the guitar. Rocksmith is a fantastic game for anyone who fancies themselves as a rock star by the way.
Do you prefer holidays at the beach, in the countryside or in the city?
The beach, hands down. I live in the countryside and I don’t like cities very much so the beach wins the crown. It’s been way too long since I saw the sea.
What is your must-have fashion item this summer?
I picked up some gorgeous printed trousers from The House of Fraser a couple of weeks back. They’re by Mango, cost £20 and they are the most comfortable trousers I have ever worn plus they’re really cool even on the hottest of days and they bring out my inner hippy.
Thanks again to Bek for tagging me, now it’s my turn. I would like Kaeyi Dream (one of my favourite vloggers in the whole wide world), the courageous little hobbit over at Fuzzy Little Balrog, Blabber Blogger and Gemma to answer the following eleven things please:
- Who is your favourite band in the whole world, even if they are a bit of a guilty pleasure.
- If you could live anywhere where would you live and why?
- Who is your favourite person you follow on Twitter?
- What’s the one thing you’d love to do with your blog or vlog that you’re not doing yet? (Example: I’d love to have a gaming section)
- If you could give your teenage self a single piece of advice, what would it be?
- Who is your favourite blogger/vlogger?
- If you could do anything for a living, what would you do?
- Who was your best friend when you were 8 and are you still friends?
- How old were you when you first got drunk?
- Name your number one comfort food that never fails to leave you satisfied.
- What tip would you share with new bloggers/vloggers?
I hope you’ll continue this tag guys and please come and leave links to your blog post down below so we can all have a good read. And readers, please feel free to answer any or all of the questions in this post down in the comments too, it’s a great way to get to know you better.
