Bethesda E3 – Dishonored 2 Trailer & Collector’s Edition
Dishonored 2 is one of the other parts of the Bethesda showcase that got me excited. This game looks beautiful (no surprise there) but what interests me most is the ability to play it based on your own style. If you want to go in fighting, you can. If you prefer a bit of stealth you can complete the game as a silent assassin. If you like to mix it up, that’s fine too. You have a choice on how you want to use your powers, which weapons you’ll master and what gadgets you’ll make good use of to complete the game. I love that freedom and it opens up the game for replays, which is a great thing. You can play as Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano and I will certainly be playing as the Empress on my first playthrough.
Bethesda also showed off the Dishonored 2 Collector’s Edition – if you know us you’ll know we love collector’s editions. This one includes loads of goodies including Corvo Attano’s Mask (wow!), a replica of Emily Kaldwin’s ring (oooh!), a poster, a digital Imperial Assassin’s pack and the collectible ‘Legacy’ Metal Case and a digital copy of Dishonored: Definitive Edition Remastered. It’s well priced too, selling at only £79.99 here in the UK. Considering we’ve parted with £150 for a collector’s edition in the past I have to say the price point is fantastic.
Dishonored 2 is a first-person action game developed by Arkane Studios, due for release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on November 11, 2016.
