I’m Wearing David Swimwear!
Okay, I have to admit I never thought I would publish a photo of myself wearing a swimming costume anywhere online. I don’t have much body confidence. Don’t get me wrong, I know my body is pretty normal and I am happy to parade around in front of G but there’s always the thought of gorgeous model bodies and beautiful women in the back of my head that I compare myself too.
I do know what a real woman looks like and that’s how I consider myself, real. So when I was sent the gorgeous David Swimwear costume to review I thought, sod it. I will add my photos just to show the world what a real woman (who doesn’t work out, or eat particularly well and who isn’t tanned) looks like.
Thankfully the swimsuit does do a little bit to help. It has a padded bust line; I appreciate this as I hate smuggling peanuts like most of us do. It also has a hidden control panel in the tummy area, smooths out some of those rolls that you might not want on display. Unfortunately it doesn’t do anything for the tops of my thighs but we can’t ask or miracles now can we.
This is hands down the best quality swimsuit I have ever owned. You can tell it’s not cheaply made, it feels great both wet and dry and is extremely comfortable to wear. I’m wearing the size 12 in these photos and it didn’t ride up my bum or dig in on the inside of my thighs. The straps are a good size too; they sit comfortably on the shoulders. If you have a bigger bust than I do I feel this swimsuit would give you ample support.
So there you have it, for the entire world to see. If you’d like to check out the designer David Swimwear collections you can do so by clicking the link (it’s not an affiliate link). They are the official UK stockists for David Swimwear and they have a great selection of other designers to browse through too.
I was sent the David Swimwear costume to review but my thoughts, experiences and opinions are my own.
